Dr. Dana Crawford gives a talk!

ZIGI is thankful to Dr. Dana Crawford for taking time to present her Crawford Bias Reduction Theory and Training (CBRT) in order to identify our biases related to culturally held assumptions and values. We discussed how ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender as well as other identities intercross and interweave and can elicit emotional and behavioral reactions. Awareness of implicit bias is the first step in aiming to reduce prejudice within our community!
